Work Flow for Drone Photgraphy or Video Flights

Planning a drone flight can involve basic planning and a simple flight,  like over a house on a clear day. It can also be complicated.

Many flights involve numerous photos from multiple heights, angles with overhead structures, or, with all the airports in Atlanta, limitations from restricted airspace.

When developing a project, a lot of things must be taken into consideration and this workflow process can either be as easy as checking the weather and airspace to having to get waivers from the FAA in advance.

Checking the area to be photographed, videotaped, or mapped for structures and any restrictions is a must to stay compliant the federal, state, or local laws. It’s also critical for maintaining the safety of people and property.

Once a plan is established you must follow this plan and only deviate from it if there are unseen circumstances or safety issues preventing you from following your preset plan. As always keep your team and those around you informed of what going on.
